Brush, leaves, and grass clippings can be dropped off at the Bitters Brush Recycling Center or the Nelson Gardens Brush Recycling Center to be recycled into nutrient-rich mulch that can be purchased by residents to use in their lawns and gardens. Brush Site Locations: Broadway Dr. S. Eastern St. Hours of Operation. Monday, Tuesday, Friday & Saturday from 8 A.M.

– 12 P.M. The brush sites are closed in the afternoons so that brush may be processed. Residential Drop Off and Pick-Up at Brush Sites. The City of Amarillo will accept the following types of items: Brush; Limbs; Tree Trunks.
